Update

May 5, 2026

On August 26, 2025, we awoke to news that our biggest project to date, the Heirloom Hotel, was on fire. Although our local fire department worked hard to put the fire out as quickly as possible, we lost two years of hard work that we put into it. Over the past few months, we've sifted through the soggy and charred remains of that hard work and our dreams for the Heirloom. At times when the loss feels overwhelming, we remind ourselves of the community that surrounds us. Everyone has one question: when will you start rebuilding? While this question seems simple, we don't quite know the answer yet. But more important than the answer is the confidence the question portrays. WHEN will you start rebuilding... Our community knows our hearts, and they know the question is WHEN and not IF.

We'd love for you to follow along by subscribing to the Heirloom Podcast on Youtube, and watching the stories we tell there. Your support, whether in Laurel or across the globe, means the world to us.
